Holiday Routine

ECDIS and RADAR
pictures of our track into the Azores Islands

The
Island of Corvo at sunrise this morning.
A successful Game night last
night with 16 lucky individuals leaving with some pretty nice
prizes. Today we have a Holiday routine that commenced about
0845 after a clean up from breakfast.
Our approach into the Azores
as uneventful with not much in the way of small vessel traffic due
to the wind and seas. A few big ships transiting and
porpoises but that is all. It's nice to be transiting during
daylight. This evening we will be amongst more of the Islands.
Hopefully in the lee of the wind so it's not too breezy for cooking
the barbecue on the stern.
Otherwise today, everyone is
off except the watch company and there will be movies, games,
songfests, cribbage, dominoes and just plain reading and relaxing
for most of the day.
A week from this morning and
we will be tying up in Gibraltar.
Check out our Question and
Answer page.
