Our Paper Chart just before
picnic time yesterday evening

The holiday has been deemed a
success. The weather cooperated, the food was terrific, and
the music was everywhere. We have some very talented musicians
aboard! Games were fun, movies were continuous and bridge
visitors abounded. A truly great relaxing day.....and
the watchstanding company made it so for everyone by keeping us on
track and everything running smoothly.
Every year at every Holiday we
always have those special few folks who along with the ship's crew
still manage to put in the better part of a working day. These
people deserve a special thanks....and lest we not forget, all the
extra work by the dining service staff and the volunteer cooks, who
despite watery eyes from the smoke, stand tall and cook the ribs and
burgers for all to enjoy.
We passed the East most Azores
island this morning with a total transit time of about 24 hours.
It is certainly a nice way to break up the ocean passage.
Right now is the start of the Europe / U.S. Yacht delivery season
and most folks making the passage stop in the Azores for a day or
so.
We are back on our routine daily
schedule and will again move our clocks ahead tonight. Our
Bunker (bunkers are fuel) Broker is talking with the suppliers in
the Gibraltar area and with our agent to facilitate our loading.
Right now we are not sure whether we will get the bunkers at anchor
or alongside.

Answer page.
