| SHIP'S
LOG
Today is father's day, we would like
to wish all you fathers our very best and hope that you enjoy the
day.
At sea, the captain is frequently referred
to as the old man. This is intended to be a compliment, which refers
to his, knowledge, patience, leadership, and morals. These are
traits of fatherhood, and again the old man is looked upon as
the father of the ship. We would like to wish a very happy father's
day to our "Old Man" who continues to recover at a remarkable rate.
We look forward to seeing him back on board very soon.
Larry from all of us aboard your ship we
will celebrate your health and recovery and wish you a happy "OLD
MAN'S" Day.
While on holiday routine today, the basketball finals, annual heaving line contest, and a physical fitness
contest are scheduled. Once everyone is physically fit,
then we can all kick back this evening for another fantastic BBQ on
the fantail. Skit night was cancelled due to lack of interest. Too
bad because in the past the performances have been great fun.
I believe for many who still have
to get all their projects done. Today will not be a day of rest, but
rather a day to finalize the last of their cruise requirements.
Time is ticking and the students are
putting the final push on.
We retarded clocks an hour last night we
are now on GMT.
